The Department of Distance & Continuing Education, School of Open Learning, Campus of Open Learning, formerly known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education, established under the University of Delhi in 1962, is a pioneer Institution in the field of Distance Education in India. - The Department of Distance & Continuing Education, School of Open Learning, Campus of Open Learning, University of Delhi has adopted UGCF-2022 (Under NEP 2020). The Curriculum and Syllabus of School of Open Learning is the same as offered across University of Delhi.
- As per Distance Education Board (DEB) guidelines, CUET is not mandatory for the candidates to take admission in School of Open Learning.
- There is no seat limit hence candidates have to take direct admission in the programmes offered by the School of Open Learning. However, candidate has to fullfil the minimum eligibility criteria laid down for the different programmes being offered.
- The Last date to take admission is decided By DEB-UGC (15th September 2026).

- Admission to all UG Programmes offered by School of Open Learning for the Academic Session 2026-27 will be through (ugadmission.oldcdu.ac.in), based on the eligibility criteria and requirements laid down in the Prospectus and other rules as published by the SOL, University of Delhi on its website (https://sol.du.ac.in).
- The online application process will be considered completed only after the payment of the Admission fee.
- Candidates must check their Student Dashboard, Email, and Admission website (ugadmission.oldcdu.ac.in) for all communications, updates and schedules related to the admission process.
